QSE # 26082 Senior Software Architect
Type of Position: Full-Time employment with client.
Successful candidate will become a senior member of the Architecture
team, which is responsible for: identifying and implementing application
architecture vision; mentor application development teams in the use of
best practices, tools, and technologies in support of the architecture
vision; creating and delivering architecture-relevant training programs;
act as a change agent to ensure successful adoption of architectural
principles.
The successful architect is well-rounded, educated, possesses technical
depth and diversity, mature, experienced, and capable of making critical
decisions in the absence of complete information. The architect is a
team player that strives for the win-win scenario.
Specific accountabilities for the Architecture team:
-Identify architectural vision to guide applications development.
-Mentor application developers and teams to assure successful adoption
and use of applications architecture.
-Develop and/or deliver training to IT personnel to establish and
maintain technical competencies in core technologies and techniques.
-Identify and select core technologies/tools critical to the application
architecture.
Architects are expected to roll-up their sleeves and pitch in where
needed, to work side-by-side with application development teams to
ensure their success. The architect cannot lead by decree.
This
senior role combines excellent interpersonal skills with deep and
diverse technical expertise. 15 or more years in successful application
development and technical leadership required. Successful candidate must
demonstrate technical excellence and experience in:
-Use of multiple OO languages, with specific knowledge of Java
-Test First Development
-XML
-Servlets
-Multiple RDBMS
-OO and Data modeling
-Multiple SDLC including agile methods
-Project management
-Knowledge of C# a plus

Senior Software Engineer - Application Report Developer Type of Position: Full-Time employment with client. Sr. Application Report Developer of a web-enabled application with the primary responsibility being report development. The secondary responsibility will be Java Development. The essential duties and responsibilities include: Develop and complete unit and integration testing of software components including reports to ensure proper and efficient execution, as well as compliance to the business and technical requirements. Interpret business requirements and translate into conceptual and logical design. Create and maintain technical design specifications. Work with the team to develop standards and processes. Analyze the business requirements and contrast to feasibility of design within time and cost constraints, exercising appropriate judgment between what is requested and what is feasible. Help allocate, coordinate, and communicate design and development work among members of the team. Lead structured technical and functional walkthroughs of specifications and programming logic with project team members. Ensure production of documentation to enable appropriate levels of support and extendibility. Support acceptance testing to ensure end user requirements are satisfied appropriately. Provide technical support for applications in production; handle on-call issues. Work well with all levels of employees across a large project with over 50 people involved. Identify and resolve issues and risks. Identify and/or clarify issues impending development progress. Work with the management team to prioritize, communicate, and coordinate the implementation of changes, defects, and enhancements. Provide status updates to the project manager. The DataMart team needs qualified individuals to design, code,
test, maintain and document Internet/Intranet reporting
applications. Engineers will also develop and successfully
complete unit and integration testing of software to ensure
proper and efficient execution, as well as compliance to the
business and technical requirements. Lead structured technical
and functional walkthroughs of specifications and programming
logic with project team members. Update documentation to record
software modifications and upgrades. Consult with other
engineers as required. Participate in acceptance testing to
ensure end user requirements are satisfied appropriately This
position will be expected to pull data from various repositories
into succinct reports that will highlight Car Sales business
performance and “what if” scenarios for analysis. Required Skills: Must have at least 2 years in database design. Must have at least 2 years in Database Analysis and Data Warehousing. Must have at least 2 years experience with Informatica, Oracle and ETL. Must have displayed leadership and team centric skills and strong solution orientation. Must have 2 years experience with J2EE, EJB, STRUTS and SQL. Must have experience in NT/Unix Operating Systems.

would be a plus. QSE# 26124 Senior Test Engineer Type of Position: Full-Time employment with client.
Individual
will be responsible for the preparation, execution, analysis and
reporting of complex software applications and system
functionality. The Automated Test Engineer will develop
automated test scripts based on existing manual test procedures
and/or new scenarios identified from Production issues. The Test
Engineer will also execute automated test procedures for regular
regression testing or in the event of emergency Production
Support releases. Responsibilities also include debugging failed
scripts, performing root cause analysis, logging defects
appropriately and/or repairing the script. Direct communication
and collaboration with ALL members of the entire Test Team is
essential. Required Skills: 4+ Years of extensive technical depth in Rational automated test tools (Robot Class, preferred) or equivalent depth in similar tools. 4+ Years of strong coding skills in VB (VB.NET a plus). 4+ years of advanced scripting experience with test automation software (not just record/playback). 3+ Years experience supporting a data-driven test automation methodology, unattended running, error recovery, and automated checking of results. 3+ Years experience in hands-on software and system testing (mainly web based applications). 3+ Years experience in Microsoft Access with specific experience in queries, reports, multi-table joins, SQL.

QSE # 26174 Developer - .NET C# Type of Position: Consulting, Full-Time employee of QSE Estimated Length of Assignment: Up to 5 years The candidate would be directly responsible for supporting applications and underlying infrastructure for pricing, sales reporting, and marketing systems. Primary Responsibilities: Meet with customer and document system requirements using UML Methodology. Design and build Smart Client and Web applications. Support applications as they are implemented into production. Develop technical documents using UML methodology.
